Wayne and Lynn, fearless leaders, talking with John and Jane about what supplies and materials are still needed for Helen's trailer

Helen picks out the perfect colors for her trailer- sage green sides with maroon trim- great pick, Helen!

Elena's still priming around the porch.  This porch is eventually rebuilt by the end of the project.

Virginia, a Navajo neighbor, lends a hand with the rolling

Lynn doing his thing, making sure everyone's smiling!

Mike takes a break to kick it old school with some Navajo teenagers who aren't that interested in VBS

These Navajo kids get a lift- physically and spiritually- at VBS!!

See what I mean?

This kitten was happy to make her acquaintance

Gary making sure these newly hung cabinets are level

Some things are universal despite the many differences between us- don't all kids grow flowers in milk gallon containers?  We found this one inside a trailer home in Church Rock where we installed cabinets (see picture on the left)

The library shelf-building crew in Church Rock

Mandy with her grandmother, Lona looking at "hot" CD's for sale by local Navajo teenagers at a restaurant

Elena's super psyched because Bill (Cardinals fan) just offered to buy lunch for us!!

Navajo legend says white buffalos are sacred- and a sign of "end times."  We're not sure if this one was real or fake

Inside Richardson's Pawn Shop- some of these authentic Navajo woven rugs cost over $60,000.00!!!

VBS skit- these guys ham it up for the Navajo kids

Pamela and Steve- taking time to enjoy the sunset

Maribel and Pat- working hard to make a difference!

Beth and Nick, with Elena, recapping a long day after VBS

Maribel makes this look easy

Chelsea's not so bad herself!

Michael escorts the Navajo children home...the pied piper of VBS!

The church at Tohlakai

I know Lynn's a bit tired from the day's work, but this is ridiculous!

Won't the paparazzi ever leave me alone?!
